Richard D. Koch is a graduate of High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland. In 1980, he received a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. After earning his diploma, he taught English as a second language in Osaka and Kumamoto, Japan. He returned to the United States in 1982, and in 1983 began work at Warren Communications News as an editorial assistant. In 2000 he graduated cum laude from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Maryland. Soon after, he left his position as Editorial Director and Assistant Managing Editor at Warren Communications News and began work as an Attorney for Interstate Dairy Queen Corporation. In 2003, he and his family moved to Pennsylvania. In 2004, he was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and joined the Turo Law firm. Richard, his wife, Julie Keenan, and their children Jackson, Camilla, and Fitzwilliam live in Mechanicsburg, PA. Richard is active in Boy Scouts, youth sports, and community service. Richard practices primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy, Commercial, and Appellate Law. |
