Lorin Andrew Snyder was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and raised in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.  He graduated from Saint Vincent College, in Latrobe, in 1998, with Bachelors of Arts degrees in History and Anthropology.  He went on to further study in History at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in 2001.

Lorin earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2005, participating in an externship with Judge Gary P. Caruso of the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas.  Lorin served as a law clerk for Judge W. Terrence O'Brien of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.  Lorin was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 2006.

Lorin joined Turo Law Offices after serving as a law clerk with Judge J. Wesley Oler, Jr., of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County.

Lorin resides in Carlisle and is engaged to Carla Burkett, a native of Mount Holly Springs and a graduate of Boiling Springs High School; she is the Development Coordinator for the Central Pennsylvania Conservancy.

Lorin practices in the areas of civil litigation, family law, wills and estates, criminal defense, mental health law, landlord/tenant law, appellate law, and real estate.
